Race timing will be done at the start, at feed stations, at the beginning and end of the untimed section for the 100km event and at the finish. Results from beginning and end of untamed section and the finish will be automatically posted to the live results program as soon as each rider passes through.
It is estimated the fastest riders will complete the 50km in under 2hrs, and around 4hrs for the 100km.
The Capital Punishment Facebook page will also be updated during the race, so riders, supporters, families, and friends should bookmark these pages to check for updates on race day.
Riders can opt in for automatic updates to their Facebook page as they cross every timing mat on the course. The link to opt in be within the results program. Note that your Facebook name and your race entry name must be identical for the opt in to work. Click on the link from early March and follow the prompts.
